A West Cheshire AC trio are celebrating regional title victories.Emily Ball, Sophie Percival and Matthew Pagan, who have all been selected to compete at next months UK School Games in Sheffield, produced gold medal winning performances at Birmingham and Liverpool.
Ball travelled to Birminghams Alexander Stadium for the Midlands Under 17 Championships and achieved gold medal displays in the discus (33.21m), and shot put (10.29m), and was presented with a silver salver for her grade one distance in the shot, and a large wooden plaque.
Percival and Pagan travelled to Wavertree, Liverpool, for the Northern Under 15 and Under 17 Championships.
Percival launched the under 17 womens javelin to a personal best distance of 37.47m to claim the title, bettering her 36.78m throw for sixth spot at last months English Schools Championships.
Pagan, returning to action after an injury, was crowned Northern Under 17 mens 400m champion after clocking a new personal best time of 49.63m after winning his qualifying heat with 51.22 seconds.
Other West Cheshire AC members in action included Charlotte Williamson, and brother and sister Zack and Alice Barnsley.
Williamson finished fourth in the under 17 womens 80m hurdles final with 12.50 seconds and was 11th in the under 17 womens long jump with 4.79m.
Zack Barnsley finished fourth in the under 17 mens 100m final in 11.63 seconds and was eighth in the long jump with 5.99m.
Alice Barnsley was sixth in her under 15 girls 100m heat in 14.0 seconds and sixth in her 200m heat with 29.23.
Former West Cheshire AC member, Amy Hinchly, representing Vale Royal AC, won the under 17 womens 1500m title with four minutes 44.09 seconds.

Georgia Barlow concluded a memorable weekend with a double success story at Colwyn Bay.The West Cheshire AC sprinter clocked new under 15 girls 100m (12.9) and 200m (26.5) personal bests to record victories at her clubs Cheshire Track and Field League third round at Eirias Park – just 24 hours after back-to-back sprinting wins at Wigan in the Youth Development League.
And Barlow also anchored the 4x100m relay team of Victoria Smith, Alice Barnsley and Vanessa Ozoemelam to victory at both matches.
Barnsley posted 13.9 seconds in her 100m race at Colwyn Bay, while Smith and Ozoemelam clocked 14.1 and 14.2 respectively.
Katie Clarke continued her impressive form by winning the under 15 girls 1500m in five minutes, while Barnsley and Ozoemelam both cleared 1-30m in the high jump, and Sophie Carter hit 6.48m in the shot.
Katies younger sister, Issy, rounded the under 15 girls 800m in a winning time of 2:31.9, ahead of Keane Harrison (2:59.1), Erin Stuart (3:01), and Ellie Finn, before Clarke, Harrison, and Stuart teamed up with Emma Howe to win the 4x100m relay.
Danielle Erskine won the womens long jump with 5.24m, while Emily Ball won the discus with 35.50m, and Georgina Moulton competed in the 100m, discus, and 4x100m relay.
Tamsin O Keefe, Anna Crayston, Holly Worthington and Abi Pawlett grabbed glory in the under 11 girls 4x100m relay, and the under 11 boys quartet of Michael Ozoemelam, Max Ross, Adam Howe, and Harvey Tegg secured first position in their sprint relay.

Olivia Montez-Brown is celebrating a record-breaking international success story.The West Cheshire AC multi-eventer was a member of the England Schools team that won the World Schools Athletics Cup in the Czech Republic and broke the record points total by 17 points.
Olivia, 17, who lives in Ellesmere Port and is a West Cheshire College student, finished third in the long jump with 5.48m and was fifth overall in the 100m hurdles.
She was joined in the six-strong England Schools girls team by Shirin Irving (Croydon Harriers), Bobby Clay (Invicta East Kent), Sabrina Bakare (Shaftesbury Barnet), Daryll Neita (Cambridge Harriers), and Robyn Petitt (Crawley) who finished ahead of runners-up Slovakia, and third placed China.
Olivia, who won the British Schools Indoor International Pentathlon Championship individual title in Glasgow during December and headed the English Schools squad to team gold, will represent Cheshire at this weekend’s English Schools Track and Field Championships.
Olivia is one of seven West Cheshire AC members who have been selected to compete at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium alongside Sophie Percival, Kelly Baker, Alice McMahon, Emily Ball, Jenni Potter, and Matthew Pagan.

Olivia Montez Brown has received a memorable birthday present.
The talented West Cheshire AC multi-eventer, who celebrated her 17th birthday last Wednesday, has been selected to represent the English Schools Athletics Association team at the World Schools Athletics Cup.
Olivia will compete in the Czech Republic between June 22 and 27 in both the 100m hurdles and long jump.
She will be joined in six-strong England girls team by Shirin Irving (Croydon Harriers), Bobby Clay (Invicta East Kent), Sabrina Bakare (Shaftesbury Barnet), Daryll Neita (Cambridge Harriers), and Robyn Petitt (Crawley).
Olivia won the British Schools Indoor International Pentathlon Championship individual title in Glasgow during December and headed the English Schools squad to team gold.
The Ellesmere Port Catholic High School pupil is a valued member of the West Cheshire ACs Youth Development League and Northern Senior Track and Field League squad.
Olivia will be attempting to better her 100m hurdles best of 15.8 seconds so far this year when she competes in the Czech Republic, as well as improve her long jump best of 5.59m.
