A sunny but cold morning after snow on Friday night and Saturday. A hard frost (-8.5°C indicated by the car on the way there) didn’t upset the course marking as the previous year had. The frozen ice on the connecting paths across the ditches was covered by enough soft snow. Jac Goodall had some company this year. First time ever that no seniors turned up! Thanks to all runners and officials who did.

Club members wishing to enter the Cheshire, Northern or National Cross-country Championships should return the club entry form (see Current Events on Home page, or Cross -country page, via Off Road page), with payment, to Mike Lamb, Dennis Wall or their coach as soon as possible.
