TWO West Cheshire Athletic Club members are celebrating podium performances.Naomi Craig and Zack Holland finished first and second respectively in their age groups at the British National Modern Biathlon Championships staged at Solihull.
Craig, a student at Abbey Gate College, Chester, won the under 17 womens age group title after achieving two minutes 14.56 seconds for her 200m freestyle swim and 5:34 for her 1600 metres run to compile 2,358 points.
And Holland, a student a Bishop Heber High School, who has recently represented Great Britain in the World Biathle Championships in Cyprus, finished runner-up with 2,525 points in the under 17 boys age group after clocking 2:12:13 for his swim, and 4:46.19 for his 1600m run.
West Cheshire AC member, Harvey Tegg, a Childer Thornton Primary School pupil, also travelled to Solihull where he finished 32nd in the under 11 boys competition with 49:24 for his swim and 2:33.90 for his run.
