Sprinter Matthew Pagan ended 2012 at the top of a UK age group ranking list.The West Cheshire Athletic Club member headed the under 15 boys 300m rankings with the fastest time of 35.74 seconds.
He achieved the impressive performance to win the England Athletics Under 15 boys 300m Championship title at Bedford in August.
And he added the second fastest time in his age group for the 400m when he posted 50.61 seconds for second place at the English Schools Championships at Gateshead in July.
He is one of several West Cheshire AC members who have secured places in the UK top-20 age group ranking lists for 2012.
Multi-eventer Olivia Montez-Brown, who capped her year with a double success story while representing England at a British Schools International Match in Glasgow, posted 4,337 points in the under 17 womens heptathlon to conclude the year in second spot for her age group.
Olivia also secured fourth place in the under 17 womens 80m hurdles after clocking 11.69 seconds, 10th place in the triple jump rankings with 11.35m, and 18th spot in the long jump with 5.51m.
Emily Ball powered her way to fourth place in the under 15 girls shot put rankings with 11.79m, and up to sixth position in the discus with 34.90m.
Kelly Baker hit 11.51m for fourth place in the under 17 womens shot ranking list and placed 18th in the under 20 womens list, while James McMahon catapulted himself up to ninth spot in the under 15 boys pole vault with 3-35m.
Alice Barnsley secured ninth position in the under 13 girls 100m rankings with a time of 13.1 seconds.
Dave McKay powered his way up to 16th spot in the mens javelin lists after a throw of 67.96m at Birminghams Alexander Stadium in June.
Zac Barnsley secured 19th spot in the under 15 boys 100m with 11.5 seconds, with Michael Bailiff cleared 1-97m for 20th position in the under 20 mens high jump, and Charlotte Williamson posted 20th spot in the under 15 girls 75m hurdles with 11.9 seconds.
Former West Cheshire AC members Amy Williams (Sale Harriers) and Amy Hinchly (Vale Royal) also achieved impressive 2012 performances.
Williams topped the under 15 girls long jump (6.07m) ranking list and is ranked 17th in the UK womens list after her impressive victory at Gateshead in the English Schools Championship.
She is also top of the under 15 girls triple jump (11.48m) ranking list, and is 14th on the high jump list after a clearance of 1-60m.
Hinchly finished 2012 joint top of the under 15 girls 1500m list with four minutes 33.48 seconds, and is ranked 11th in the under 17 womens 1500m list, as well as being 13th in the under 15 girls 800m with 2:15:95.
