Lauren Hunt placed 2nd in U20 Discus with a throw of 34.43m and Dave McKay place 3rd in Senior Javelin with a 63.83m throw. Nicola Gore missed out on 3rd with a Senior Discus throw of 38.97.

A very small team 12 ladies and only 8 males, managed to hold on to 3rd place at Salford in the 2nd round of the Cheshire League on a very hot day.
Carl finished 10th in the U20 English Combined Events, Decathlon, Championships and 2nd in the North of England competition at Northwood Stadium Stoke, with 5 personal best peformances and a overall total of 6017 points.
Many thanks to the team of officials and volunteers who helped put the event on, including the ‘Tom Twins’ who ran the Tuck shop.The event saw a new league record set in Pole vault by Abi Heywood from Sale, Katarina Thompson also from Sale equalled the league high jump record and Suzanne Woodward from Liverpool Harriers who equalled the match record in the hammer.
