Merry Christmas to all West Cheshire AC members, families and friends!
CLUB KIT FOR CHRISTMAS
Woollen club bobble hats and purple club hoodies have been delivered, so please come and buy your bobble hat (£15) and hoodie (£20 each) at the track office container after training on Tuesday 2nd January from 8pm.
Meanwhile, club members can also access an online club shop selling a range of items. Please use WCAC2023 as the password.

First -claim West Cheshire AC members who want to compete in the Cheshire, Northern, or English National Cross-country Championships can find details of what is involved, and how to enter, here (closing dates December 21st and January 7th).

West Cheshire AC is organising the popular Chester Round The Walls Race on Boxing Day at Chester Racecourse (10:30am start). If you can help out on the day please let Dennis Wall know in advance by email: [email protected] or just turn up on the day.

CLUB PRESENTATION EVENING – TICKETS NOW ON SALE
The West Cheshire AC Annual Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 2nd February at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Chester. Please follow this link to purchase your tickets: https://wcac.niftyentries.com
As well as the annual achievement awards in all age categories, there will be games, a quiz, a raffle with superb prizes, and a hot buffet. Any raffle prizes that you may wish to donate would be gratefully received, and can be dropped off with club officials at the EPSV Track Container Office on a training night.

EPSV TRACK TRAINING FESTIVE ARRANGEMENTS
The first training sessions after Christmas and New Year will be on Tuesday 2nd January.
PLEASE ID CLOTHING WHEN TRAINING AT THE EPSV TRACK
Can parents please write the name of their youngster on any clothing they wear at the EPSV track so that any training tops or coats are identified if left at the site. And all parents/guardians of youngsters attending track training sessions are reminded to collect them from the track, not from the car park. The club wants to ensure everyone stays safe and that every youngster safely leaves every track training session.
We also ask that all youngsters attending track training sessions should bring along warm clothing, preferably waterproofs, hat, gloves, and a bottle of water.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT TRAINING SESSIONS – PLEASE GET INVOLVED!
The club needs helpers to register members on the tablet at the EPSV athletics track office before training sessions, and to assist our coaches to help deliver those sessions. If you can help, please email [email protected]
COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Any parents of junior members, or older athletes wanting to become a qualified assistant coach, can find details here. West Cheshire AC will pay for your coaching course fee. For more details email [email protected]
