THIS WEEKEND

West Cheshire AC will be represented in the latest Summer Off Road League Fixture at Wepre parkrun on Saturday (9am start), a Quadrathlon Competition at Manchester on Saturday (11.10am start); and in this Sundayโ€™s Under 17 and Under 20 Youth Development Track and Field League Fixture at Stanley Park, Blackpool, (11.15am start).

BUSY WEEK AHEAD

The Club is hosting four fixtures within the next week at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village Track and anyone available to help out will be made most welcome.

Monday sees the Chester Primary School Athletics Competition take place with field events from 1-3pm, and track events between 5-7pm.

Wednesday sees the club host the Cheshire v Merseyside Year 7 Schools Championships between 5-7pm.

Thursday sees the club organise it’s annual West Cheshire AC Schools Track and Field Cup Match from 4pm.

And Saturday sees the club host a Cheshire Track and Field League Match from 11.45am.

URGENT HELP NEEDED

The Club needs urgent help, support, and assistance from parents during Tuesday evening training sessions at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village Athletics Track (6.30pm-8pm).

WHY NOT BECOME AN OFFICIAL?

West Cheshire AC is keen to help any parents of members wanting to become qualified officials. The Club will pay for parents of members wanting to attend an officials course.

NORTHERN TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS โ€“ ENTRIES NOW OPEN!

Entries are now being accepted for the Northern Track and Field Age Group Championships for Under 13s, Under 15s, Under 17s, Under 20s, and Seniors, at the following link:

The Under 20 and Senior Championships closing date is 13th May; while the Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s Closing date is 26th July. Further details here.

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

All parents of youngsters attending track training sessions are reminded to collect their sons and daughters from the track โ€“ not from the car park. The Club wants to ensure everyone stays safe and that every youngster safely leaves every track training session. 

CLUB KIT

Anyone wanting to purchase club vests (ยฃ17) and/or hoodies (ยฃ15) is reminded that parents Vikki Brett and Joanne Lark will sell club kit at the EPSV Track Office AFTER Tuesday night training sessions.

Payment can be made by cash, or by cheque made payable to West Cheshire AC.

INVITE TO OBTAIN TRACK AND FIELD CERTIFICATE

All Club members are being invited to support our club by completing the Track & Field Online Management Course to help West Cheshire AC look after the Ellesmere Port Sports Village Athletics Track. Further details can be found here.
