Run a Mile!

WEST CHESHIRE members are invited to take part in the annual mile races after training at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village Athletics Track on Tuesday 3rd May at 8pm,to mark the anniversary of Sir Roger Bannister`s first sub-four minute mile.

Everyone from 8 years old upwards is welcome to take part in this free event, whether you want to see if you can break a club record, or just run a mile for the sake of it.

FIVE West Cheshire Athlete won national championsh

FIVE West Cheshire Athlete won national championship medals in Birmingham and Cardiff at the weekend.

Jessica, Harriet, Emma and Yasmin all pocketed silver medals representing Cheshire at the English Schools Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, while Macey bagged a silver medal representing North East Wales at the Welsh Schools Championships in Cardiff.

Jessica and Harriet will go on to represent England at SIAB💜💜

35 WEST CHESHIRE Athletic Club members took part i

35 WEST CHESHIRE Athletic Club members took part in Saturday’s English National Cross Country Championships at Bolesworth Castle near Tattenhall.

The purple and gold-vested outfit rubbed shoulders with the best athletes in the country at the prestigious annual fixture which attracted thousands of runners to the picturesque Cheshire countryside.
