Double Indoor Gold
Kelly Baker and Olivia Montez-Brown produced title-winning performances at the Northern Indoor Championships.The West Cheshire AC pair, who represented England last year, celebrated victories at the English Institute of Sport Arena, at Sheffield.
Kelly hit a winning put of 11.29m to claim the gold medal in the under 20 womens shot, well clear of second placed Amy Hodgson (City of Sheffield AC) with 9.87m.
And Olivia secured a gold medal in the under 20 womens long jump with a leap of 5.53m, and added a silver medal in the 60m hurdles after clocking 9.06 seconds.
Zac Barnsley finished sixth in the under 17 mens 60m final in 7.42 seconds after winning his semi-final heat in a new personal best of 7.35 seconds, and he was third in his 200m semi-final heat with a time of 23.79 seconds.
Georgia Barlow posted 8.38 seconds for third place in her under 17 womens 60m semi-final, and 27.47 seconds for fifth spot in her 200m semi-final.
And Richard Farley rounded the mens 1500m in a time of 4:41:05 for seventh position.
