QUIZ AND BINGO
A quiz and bingo will be held in the Ellesmere Port Sports Village Trackside Room tonight (Friday, 24th November), from 7pm. Entry is a donated prize. Please support the event!

The West Cheshire AC Annual Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 2nd February at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Chester. Please follow this link to purchase your tickets: https://wcac.niftyentries.com
As well as the annual achievement awards in all age categories, there will be games, a quiz, a raffle with superb prizes, and a hot buffet.
Any raffle prizes that you may wish to donate would be gratefully received, and can be dropped off with club officials at the EPSV Track Container Office on a training night.

CLUB AGM
The West Cheshire AC AGM will be held on Tuesday 28th November, in the EPSV Trackside Room, at 8.15pm.
All committee members, including the Chairman and Secretary, are standing down from their positions. Please attend the AGM and play your part to help shape your club’s future.
SATURDAY MORNING
Please note that club training on Saturday Morning (25th November) at Ellesmere Port Sports Village Athletics Track will be taking place.
SUPPORT FOR YOUNG ATHLETES
The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund is accepting applications for financial assistance in 2024 from young athletes of national standard aged 15-23 (or older, in exceptional circumstances). Applications close on December 14.

Cheshire County AA Cross Country Championships at Reaseheath College, Nantwich, Saturday January 6th 2024 (Age groups from under 11s to veterans).
Northern Athletics Cross Country Championships at East Park, Sedgefield, Saturday January 27th 2024 (Age groups from under 13s to veterans).
English National Cross Country Championships at Weston Park near Telford, Saturday February 24th 2024 (Age groups from under 13s to veterans).
All abilities represented. No charge β the club will pay if:
You are a FIRST-CLAIM member of West Cheshire AC, and:
You commit to turning up on the day!
For the Cheshire Championships only, you also must either have been born in Cheshire or have been living there for at least nine months before the race, and must not have competed in another county’s championships since October 1st 2022.

PLEASE ID CLOTHING WHEN TRAINING AT THE EPSV TRACK
Can parents please write the name of their youngster on any clothing they wear at the EPSV track so that any training tops or coats are identified if left at the site. And all parents/guardians of youngsters attending track training sessions are reminded to collect them from the track, not from the car park. The club wants to ensure everyone stays safe and that every youngster safely leaves every track training session.
We also ask that all youngsters attending track training sessions should bring along warm clothing, preferably waterproofs, hat, gloves, and a bottle of water.
CANCELLATION
The third round of the Manchester Area Cross-country League, due to take place at Sherdley Park, St Helens, on December 2nd has been postponed due to issues at the park. No rearranged date has yet been set.

CHESTER ROUND THE WALLS RACE
Entries have closed for the Chester Round The Walls Race being held on Boxing Day. There is no waiting list.
Please remember that club members taking part in this event MUST provide a helper on the day to enable the event to happen. If you enter, please email the name(s) of your helper(s) ASAP to Dennis Wall at: [email protected]
CLUB KIT FOR CHRISTMAS
Purple club hoodies have been ordered and should be delivered in the next fortnight, so please look out for details soon.
