Victoria takes silver at Sheffield
Victoria Anderson pocketed a silver medal at the England Athletics U17 Indoor Pentathlon Championship held at Sheffield.
The mult-talented West Cheshire AC member compiled 3,166 points for second position overall and first position in the Northern Championship which was incorporated into the
Victoria clocked 9.67 seconds in the 60m hurdles, cleared 1-69m in the high jump, hit 8.30m in the shot, achieved 4.95m in the long jump, and clocked 2:39.02 in the 800m.
West Cheshire AC team mate, Alice Jennings, finished sixth overall and fifth in the Northern event with 3,013 points.
Her performances included a 9.45 seconds run in the 60m hurdles, a 1-60m clearance in the high jump, 8m in the shot, 4.31m in the long jump, and 2:31.08 in her 800m.
