Success at Northern Veterans Track and Field Championships
The West Cheshire AC trio of Rob Tudor, Neil Atkinson, and Russell Kirk have all returned home with medals from the Northern Veterans Track and Field Championships, at Hyndburn, near Accrington.Rob Tudor grabbed gold medal performances in both the over-40 men’s 800m (2:14) and 1500m (4:36), clocking the fastest times on the day by any veteran in both events.
Neil Atkinson posted a winning time of two minutes 15 seconds in the over-45 men’s 800m, and Russell Kirk finished just one second adrift to return home with the silver medal.
