Dave McKay was at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham for the World Trials and UK Championships and finished seventh with a throw of 65.18m in the Senior Men’s Javelin competition.

It was a fantastic weekend for Westcheshire Athletics Club, showcasing impressive performances across various competitions:

- Sidney earned a silver medal in her first international competition, a remarkable achievement for her debut on the international stage.
- Emma secured a bronze medal at the Nationals, adding to her growing list of accomplishments.
- The YDL team demonstrated strong participation and spirit at the last YDL event of the season, showing up in great numbers and representing the club with pride.

Sidney finished 2nd in the Inter Girls Shot final today, throwing a huge new PB of 14.73m (previously Sidney’s PB was 12.97m)!!
