U15 girls help Cheshire to silver at Sportshall final

A trio of West Cheshire AC members have steered Cheshire to a podium place.
Alice McMahon, Danielle Erskine, and Alice Jennings were part of the under 15 girls county team who finished runners-up in the UK Sportshall Athletics Championships Final, at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Alice McMahon finished joint 17th in the under 15 girls all-rounder individual competition, sprinting 22.9 seconds in the two lap, hitting 6.89m in the shot, and achieving 56cms in the vertical jump.
Danielle Erskine scored 84 for joint third position in the speed bounce, clocked 24.0 seconds in the two lap, and achieved 2.04m in the standing long jump.
Alice Jennings, who was recently crowned Northern Indoor
Pentathlon champion, completed the trio by securing 51.0 seconds in her four lap, hitting 7.53m in the shot, and she scored 47cms in the vertical jump.

The West Cheshire AC trio of Laura Rigby, Olivia Montez-Brown, and Lucy Earl helped push Cheshire under 13 girls to fourth position in their final.
Laura posted 24.3 seconds for the joint 13th fastest two lap time, and she cleared 1-25m in the high jump.
Olivia delivered 52.4 seconds for seventh place in the four lap, and 6.38m for seventh spot in the standing triple jump.
Lucy completed the West Cheshire AC girl;s contingent with a score of 81 in the speed bounce for seventh position.

Yousef Khalifa and Joel Langmead competed for Cheshire in the under 13 boys UK Final and helped their team finish 11th.
Yousef cleared 1-20m in the high jump, and Joel achieved 6.27m in the standing triple jump.
