Combined Events Success for Alice
Alice Jennings has been crowned North of England U15 Girls Indoor Combined Events champion.The multi-talented West Cheshire AC member scored 2,862 points to finish first in the Northern event and seventh overall at Sheffield’s English Institute of Sport Arena.
Alice included a new long jump best of 4.22m and new 800m best of two minutes 31 seconds in her pentathlon appearance.
Tom Booth also represented West Cheshire AC in Sheffield and finished 12th in the under 17 men’s heptathlon with 3,447 points.
Tom posted 8.05 seconds in his 60m, 5.45m in his long jump, 8.25m in the shot, 1-62m in the high jump, 9.36 seconds in the 60m hurdles, 2-31m in the pole vault, and 2:56.29 in the 1,000m.
