Many thanks!
Was the course shorter for the Year 6’s today? They seemed to get round a lot faster than last months! Was it 1 mile for them and 1.5mile for Year 7?

Hi
I heard from the race organiser that the courses were generally all shorter today than they were in the first round, but I’m afraid I don’t know by how much – I can check with others who may know. The person who devised the course says that distances are as follows:
Year 3&4, Girls & Boys – ca 0.8k/ ½mile 1 small lap
Year 5&6, Girls & Boys – ca 1.2k/ ¾mile 1 large lap
Year 7, Girls & Boys – ca 2k/ 1½miles 1 small lap + 1 large lap
Year 8, Girls & Boys – 2.8k/ 1¾miles 2 small laps + 1 large lap
There is a link to the large lap at http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/1347715012/.
Hope this helps….

Hi Aimee
Just to let you know, I have been informed by the person who devised the courses for the second round of the WCAC Schools Cross-country course on November 12th that Years 3 and 4 ran a similar distance as in the first round in October, but that courses for all other age groups were approximately c 0.4Km/ 0.25mile shorter than those run in October. I hope this helps.

Morning. In the first series race a photographer took many great photos of the different age groups. Do you know if there was a photographer there on Sun (Nov 12th) Cheers, Fred

Hi Fred
Sorry, our photographer wasn’t around on Saturday (his first round photos are at https://www.flickr.com/photos/132151243@N03/sets/72157674958549895 if you want to check them out). We hope to get him back for the last round! There should still be photos of the first three in each race in our press reports in this week’s local newspapers.
Regards
David
