Press Report: Rogers Sets the Pace in Virtual Race

ROSEMARY ROGERS is on course for a hat-trick of victories.

The West Cheshire Athletic Club member headed the BTR Virtual Race leaderboard in three different events at the end of June.

Rogers clocked the fastest women’s time of 23 minutes 55 seconds for the Port Sunlight 5k, 46:22 for top spot in the Mersey Tunnel 10k Race, and 63:53 for the Off-Road 8 Miles Race.

The BTR Virtual Race Series will continue for July and August and at the end of the three months the winners in each race will receive a winners trophy.

Runners not aiming for the top spot are being urged to use any of the distances as great motivation to get them through this period of lockdown – and they will also be helping support a local business during very difficult times.
