Saturday 02-06-18: TRAINING CANCELLED

Saturday morning training this week (2nd June) at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village Athletics Track has been cancelled due to the club’s involvement at the Cheshire Track and Field League fixture at Macclesfield (11.45am start).

Further details about the fixture at Macclesfield can be obtained from Dennis at dennis.wall1@ntlworld.com

On boxing day the club hosted the annual round the

On boxing day the club hosted the annual round the walls race with this year's race taking an alternate route due to ongoing renovations on the city walls.
Elliot Cox of @buckley_runners made it back to back wins in what were testing conditions whilst Charlotte Towers of @chestertriathlonclub was the first lady home.
Some strong club performances as well with Aiden Heap coming home 3rd leading four West Cheshire athletes home in the top 10 and Kerry Riley placed 7th female to lead the ladies home.
Big thanks to all the Marshalls and supporters for braving the weather and to all who ran with us this year.

England Athletics National U15/17 Championships 2017. George Hyde winning Gold in the U17M Shot and Evie Tipping coming 4th in the U15G Hammer. Well done George and Evie. 👏👏🎉🎉

Fantastic performances at the ESAA Champs in Birmi

Fantastic performances at the ESAA Champs in Birmingham today saw George and Emma taking First Place 🥇for the Inter Boys Shot and Inter Girls Javelin respectively and Evie taking Third Place 🥉 in the Junior Girls Hammer. Ethan performed well in a top quality High Jump field. 👏👏👏🎉 This doesn't happen without the support, enthusiasm, dedication and motivation our Coaches...a huge thanks to Dave McKay and Jenny Manning for your part in these fantastic achievements too....hugely appreciated 👍!! Also great to see the support the athletes gave each other through the day including our one 'man' barmy army Sophie P!! 👏👏. Great support as ever from our parents too!!! Well done team!!!
