Fell Running

For those interested in experiencing this facet of running there is an excellent introduction to fell running linked from the Manx Fell Runners home page. The Community section is designed to be useful for anyone interested in getting into fell running and not necessarily just racing.

Most Fell races can be found on the Fell Runners Association site or by consulting the Clubfinder website (from our links pages) which arranges clubs by County – look for clubs in or near the Lake and Peak District or the Pennine and Welsh hills and mountains.

The 2007 Cheshire Fell Running championship was hosted by the ‘Passing Clouds’ race promoted by Congleton Harriers in late October. This was a change from previous years – switching from the Clwydian Hills of North Wales to the Peak District on the eastern edge of the County.
