Walls Race & Ladies CC Archive
Round the Walls
In 1972 the local athletic club, Chester & District AC, was involved in the organisation of the first Round the Walls race. In 1975 they merged with Ellesmere Port AC. CEPAC continued with the organisation until 1997, celebrating the 25th running of the event in 1996 by producing a treatise ‘A Brief History’ by John Driscoll.
Another merger in 1998 and West Cheshire continue to put on this popular race.
