West Cheshire Athletic Club 
West Cheshire Athletic Club serves the areas of Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston, providing coaching and competition for all age groups in all events. West Cheshire A.C. was formed in April 1998 by the joining of Chester and Ellesmere Port A.C. (CEPAC) and Whitby Heath A.C. The joining of the two clubs has helped West Cheshire A.C. to field competitive teams in Road Running, Cross Country and Track & Field leagues, both male and female across all age groups from 8 to 80+.
Supporting our athletes are a dedicated group of qualified coaches in all disciplines and enough graded Technical Officials to host any level of competition.
In April 2004 West Cheshire A.C. were awarded the Sport England Clubmark. and in 2005 the club was nominated for and won the North West Regional uk:athletics Junior club of the year and went on to win the National Junior club of the year award.
In 2007 West Cheshire AC won the following awards:- Cheshire and Warrington Sport Partnership Sports Club Of The Year, England Athletics NW Regional Best Club and the Sport England-sponsored BBC North West Community Sport Club of the Year.
