Cross Country Leagues 2008/2009
- In Leagues 1, 3 & 4 tallies are handed out at the end of the finish funnel for you to pass on to the WCAC team recorder who fills in the team sheet.
- In League 2 each runner’s number is recorded by the funnel stewards.
- 2nd Claim members can run in Leagues 1 & 2.
- Leagues 3 & 4 are strictly 1st Claim only and also no guests in League 4

- The Liverpool and District CC Union: – Used to be for Male only but senior Women can now run in the o17 Mens race (5/6 miles) held at three venues before Xmas.
2nd Claim members can run in the League.
The L&D Championship race in January/February is for 1st claim members only.
- The Manchester Area CC League: – All age groups [No U11 at first and fifth in 2008/2009], at five venues Oct/Feb;
Declared 2nd Claim members can run.
A Number is allocated to registered runners for the series, additions are allowed before each race – it is the runner's responsibility to look after it – for Four Months!
Best four of five races to count for individual and team awards.
- The North Staffs CC League: – All age groups, at four venues before Christmas;
1st Claim members only.
- The '' North Wales CC League: Five venues Sept/Feb with two races at each: The 1st at 2pm; a combined race for Women o15, Youths u17 and V70 Men and the 2nd at 2.45pm for all Men o17.

Age Groups for Leagues
The Liverpool and District CC Union; – you must be 17 or older on the preceding 31st August.
The Manchester Area CC League & The North Staffs CC League; - all age groups are from the preceding 31st August.
The '' North Wales CC League; - the under 17 & senior age groups are from the preceding 31st August. Veteran/Master age groups are decided by their age at the first race of the series.
