Three members secure medals at the English Schools Track and Field Championships.Kelly Baker, Victoria Anderson and Danielle Bentley represented Cheshire and claimed second-placed positions at Birminghams Alexander Stadium.
Baker, who attends Bishops High School, powered her way to a best effort of 11.94m for second place in the junior girls shot put.
Anderson, a pupil at Queens School, Chester, delivered a clearance of 1-68m to earn second position in the Inter Girls high jump competition.
And Bentley, a Whitby High School student and also a member of Sale Harriers, launched the javelin to a distance of 46.70m for runners-up spot in the senior girls competition.
Olivia Montez-Brown finished fifth with a time of 11.37 seconds in the junior girls 75m hurdles final, after posting a winning time of 11.55 seconds in her heat.
Bryony Potter, representing Merseyside, clocked 12.6 seconds for fifth position in her heat of the senior girls 100m, and Alice Jennings, representing Cheshire, finished sixth with 46.80 seconds in her heat of the inter girls 300m hurdles.
Tom Kellett hit 32.13m for 16th position in the junior boys hammer, and Stephen Jones posted 23.66 seconds for seventh place in his heat of the inter boys 200m.
Aidan Stoakley clocked 11.6 seconds for sixth place in his heat of the senior boys 100m, and Laura Rigby achieved 13.29 seconds for seventh position in her junior girls 100m heat.
